Welcome to our Online Shop!

We have confidence in what we sell, therefore we only sell brands that are robust, innovative, reliable and trusted.

Purchasing a sewing machine is a big deal. Getting the right one to fit your needs is important. We offer a personal service to all our customers who are looking for an experience with a company who know what they are talking about, can provide back up and be on hand to answer any questions.

That's why we don't sell directly online to customers.

Did you know that when you buy a sewing machine online from a company, they are responsible for the care and warranty of your machine? Therefore if any issues were to arise, your machine would have to go back to the shop you purchased from more often than not at your cost!  Not easy when it could be hundreds of miles away.

By offering a "click and collect" service, you can try before you buy, compare to other models, have a 1-1 lesson on your machine and have any problems fixed by your local sewing machine shop including repairs and servicing.

We have many customers who pop in with their recent makes from their new machine. It builds community, inspires others plus we really do care and love to see!

Product Details

Saturday 8th June 2024 10-4pm £45

£13.50 deposit remaining amount of £31.50 is due on the day.

Basic fabric and mount included.

Join us for a fun day learning about free motion embroidery and use your new skills to create a beautiful unique Needle Case.

We will create a stitched landscape design on a wool felt base. It can then be further embellished with some hand embroidery and beads before making the main body and adding a ribbon tie. Finally, we will add further felt pages which can be used to store all your needles.

K and B have a good range of wool felt in pretty colours, so please purchase your choice of colour when you book so that you know what threads to bring to the workshop. You will only need 20cms, but this should allow you to make more than one.

Remember to choose your felt colour

Decide on a colour palette for your work – find any felt, silk, cotton, organza snippets you have at home which look good with your felt colour.

Your palette will then dictate the machine and hand embroidery threads and beads you bring with you.

Please make sure you are familiar with your machine and that you know how to change thread, feet and know how to lower your feed dogs. If you are new to a machine then contact Katie at K and B Sewing Machines who can give you a 1:1 lesson.

Do not worry if you are not the greatest artist – we will work together to create something together that you can be proud of.

Looking forward to meeting you all soon

Sarah
