Fundamentals of Dressmaking Part 2 is for you!

-Different seam finishes

-Making and putting bias binding on a neckline/sleeve hem

-How to install a centered, lapped and invisible zip

Different types of interfacing and where to use them

-Hems - I’ll share some easier ways to make your hem look professional and where to use your twin needles.

-Buttonholes - how to complete and different types, even how to complete a corded one too.

And lots more!

You will make up a sample file so later on you have a reference point.

To attend this course you will have had to complete Fundamentals Part 1

Week 1- Thursday 24th July -10.30 am to 2.30pm

Week 2- Thursday 31st July -10.30am to 2.30pm

We will provide:

Fabric and zips and a folder with sample sheets for storage.

You will need to bring along your sewing machine and all of your presser feet, your sewing machine manual, threads and a basic sewing kit.

To reserve your place a deposit of £25 is required. The remaining amount is paid to the tutor on the day. Please read terms and conditions before booking.
